A Merseyside recruiter that has been operating exclusively in the US energy storage recruitment market is celebrating its first year of business by expanding into the UK market.
Led by principal consultant Luke Wigfield, Wirral-based Nano Search & Selection works with major companies in large-scale battery technology to identify key contributors and leaders in research, development and applications, including such roles as engineers, electro chemists, project managers and technicians.
In a company statement, Nano said that the utility-scale battery technology was currently flourishing because of falling component costs and a need for greater grid flexibility.
Wigfield has previously worked in recruitment in European green and electrification technologies, including the automotive sector, the statement said.
Entrepreneur Gary Dewhurst is a key investor in Nano.
