I established gap personnel in August 1997, out of Wrexham, North Wales. Adopting aggressive growth strategies and recruiting the finest talent, built the company up to be one of the UK’s largest industrial staffing agencies, with annual group sales of £200 million by 2018.

Sold a 75% stake to Japanese listed recruiter BeNext (formerly Trust Tech) in 2018. Sold final 25% stake in April 2020. The gap journey is over.

Now spend my time overseeing a significant investment portfolio in the following sectors;

Recruitment
• 3ecruit
• Charterhouse Recruitment

Property / Construction
• Broughton Hall Estates
• Regional Property Maintenance

Education
• Educate Group
• Premier Education

Technology
• Trade Plant Hire

Sports/Leisure
• Connah's Quay Nomads FC
• PLM Health and Fitness

Still hungry – still considering more investments.
